Fight me. I have both the Cricut Explore Air 2 and The Silhouette Cameo 4. When I have a simple order (which is usual) I cannot say that I go turn on my Cameo 4. Cricut has much more value since you have to pay a subscription for both models.

Or you can just upload your own art and not pay a subscription. Cricket at 10$ a month comes with unlimited free assets. Silhouette varies from $50 to $100, and sales assets by the dollar. I will admit, there are times I have to use the Cameo 4. Silhouette’s software is outstanding and offers a lot of different options. You also don’t need to use a pad when cutting vinyl.

But if you’re new to the game, the Cricut is looked at as a “hobbyist” piece of tech. I’m here to prove that Cricut is better in terms of ease of use. Cameo 4 takes a lot of time and there are so many things you have set.

The Cricut is not as intricate but that’s what makes it better. Especially if you buy 12′ Vinyl. Cameo is standard at 15 but you can set it to 12.

At 187.99, I wish I could get my reimbursement for buying my cricket at the regular price. This is a steal.
